Probes - Sampling and Chemical Injection
The fully adjustable PAM sample probe is designed to be inserted and withdrawn manually into a pressurised pipeline. The depth of insertion can be set at any desired length.
Sampler probes are available in a variety of threaded or flanged connection sizes, probe sizes and lengths.
For sampling the end of the tube should be set within the centre 1/3rd of the pipeline. Tube ends can be straight, 45° or 90°. Special purpose ends can be supplied as well.
If the end of the tube has a chamfer or 90° end, the upstream direction of the tube is indicated with an arrow engraved on the upstream side, at the end of the boss.
Specific insertion lengths can be supplied or users can cut the tube to suit the installation. The insertion length can be tagged or engraved on the unit as an option.
The IP adjustable sample probe is designed to be inserted and withdrawn manually into a pressurised pipeline. The depth of insertion can be set at any desired length.
EnPro PPAI Pipeline Insertion Probes have been designed to be fully inserted and retracted from the pipeline using pressure assistance that enables easy and safe operation that can be carried out by one person, without the need for special tools.
The PPAI is fully adjustable over it's entire insertion length.
The EnPro PFP-HP Series Pitot Probe has been to developed to extract sample gas from high pressure gas pipelines, for use with on-line chromatograph or sample collection via a sample pump, suitable also for chemical injection applications.
Probe configuration is flexible to address the varying requirements that could be anticipated for this type of device.
The tips can be for a simple single pitot probe, static source Pitot or Pitot-Static, to return extracted gas back into the pipeline
The EnPro PFIR is an insertion Probe Regulator that provides a regulated sample supply to chromatograph's, H2S analyser, gravitometers, calorimeters, moisture analysers, instrument gas take-offs, and other on line analysing equipment
By taking the pressure drop at the tip of the probe, inside the pipe, the Joule-Thompson effect is minimised or eliminated. Thus a dry sample is generated. Essential for on-line analysers.
To assist the reduction of forces generating vortex shedding, the helical transition tube acts an aerodynamic stabiliser.
EnPro PPAIR Pipeline Insertion Regulators have been designed to be fully inserted and retracted from the pipeline using pressure assistance that en- ables easy and safe operation that can be carried out by one person, without the need for special tools.
