Sample Conditioning

Sample Probe with Heater

To ensure samples have a faster response it is best practice to mount the sample regulator as close as possible to sample point. LXA systems achieves this as the regulator is mounted directly on the sample probe. The sample probe has an integral membrane which rejects free liquids. These are turned to the pipeline through a drain.

EnPro LXA Sample Probe Handling System

The EnPro LXA is a sample probe conditioning system specially designed for analysers.

As the sample take off point is located in the flowing stream of gas there is differential between the inlet and return leg located at the outer edge of the pipe. Due to pressure differential caused a fresh representative sample is always available to the regulator.

This hot loop design will also return liquids to the pipeline when rejected by the membrane at up to 200cc per minute based on 1.3 kPa differential pressure.
